Slow Cooker Garlic Herb Beef Stew

Ingredients:

1.5 kg (3 lbs) beef chuck, cut into large cubes
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup beef broth
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Prepare the Meat:
Place the beef cubes into the slow cooker. Add the diced onion on top.
Make the Sauce:
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, beef broth, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, thyme, black pepper, paprika, salt, and brown sugar. Mix well.
Combine:
Pour the sauce evenly over the beef and onions in the slow cooker.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours, until the beef becomes tender and juicy.
Serve:
Stir gently before serving. Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
